Warrior spirit.

An ode to the African woman

I've always had a pre-disposition to the whimsical and strange, its a blessing and a curse.

This piece titled "Warrior Spirit" stands out as one of my favorites. This is my take on what an African Warrior Spirit would look like so lets unpack.

She's female (obviously) because i really don't know anyone stronger than an African Woman. She has the power to create wealth from nothing, withstand some of the Harshest situations and do it all with grace and poise. A QUEEN.

You cant see past all the jewelry covering her face like a mask, but she can see you. Her mouth is the only thing that is uncovered, that is the power in her words.

In her right hand she holds a four edged dagger and in her left hand an inter-dimensional shield... because she can.

Her hair holds history, knowledge and wisdom. She is a keeper of histories and a fount of wisdom, because even warriors know when to fight and when to try diplomacy.
